• Use tools such as Spoken Content, Speak Screen and Dictation.

• Explore Accessibility Reader and other tools that support reading and comprehension.

• Identify ways accessibility features can remove barriers to learning.

• Apply accessibility tools to everyday classroom activities.

• Develop strategies for creating more inclusive learning experiences for all students.

This workshop is suited to all teachers looking to use accessibility features on iPad in their classrooms.

Apple Teacher is a free professional development programme from Apple that introduces the basics of using iPad, explores productivity with Pages, Keynote and Numbers and then creativity with iMovie and GarageBand.

Over the two half-days, this course will work through all six ‘badges’ of Apple Teacher, enabling the attendee to gain their Apple teacher recognition by the end of the second workshop.

Explore how iPad and Apple Pencil can strengthen key principles of effective modelling in the classroom.

Using built-in apps including Keynote, Freeform, Notes and Camera, the session will demonstrate practical approaches to live modelling, worked examples, annotation and visual explanation that make thinking more visible to learners.
